British Airborne Starter Army

With trademark red beret and armed with Sten and Bren Guns the British Airborne were determined and tenacious. Striking German forces with precision and speed during actions at Pegasus Bridge, the Merville Battery and during Operation Market Garden in Arnhem, the Red Devils became legendary.

This boxed set contains:

• 36 plastic infantry, with a selection of weapons, including light machine guins, sub-machine guns, PIATs, scoped rifles for snipers and a range of equipment for commanders such as binoculars.
• Metal light mortar, flamethrower, medium mortar and medium machine gun teams.
• Metal 6-pounder and crew.

This gives you enough to make a rifle platoon with supporting teams, a heavy weapons platoon plus an artillery platoon.
